Will Smith was one of David Letterman's "Other Guests" on his first Oscar television appearance

Will Smith and Billie Eilish were among David Letterman's guests in the fourth season of his Netflix talk show "My Next Guest Needs No Any Introduction."

Six new episodes, all on May 20, will also feature rapper Cardi B, NBA star Kevin Durant and actors Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Ryan Reynolds, who are chatting with former "Late Show" host on CBS.

But those looking for Smith's remarks about the bad Oscar Slap as he marched to the podium and attacked Chris Rock will be disappointed: Netflix quickly announced that all six interviews had been recorded, "on March 2022." (The Oscars took place on March 27.)

The moment, which shocked Hollywood and millions of viewers, came after Rock made a joke about the sequel to "GI Jane" with the severed head of Smith's wife, Jada Pinkett Smith.

He was banned from receiving Oscars for 10 years and was released from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

Among other guests, Eilish embarked on his Happier Than Ever world tour, and Ryan Reynolds recently starred in "The Adam Project."

"My Next Guest" premiered in 2018, three years after Letterman (75) left the "Late Show".

The Netflix series offers a deep immersion into the personal lives of artists and combines "humor, curiosity and deep conversation with great people," says Netflix.
